Vasyl Pop-Stasiv is a counsel and heads the IP/IT department at Taylor Wessing in Kiev, Ukraine. With more than 10 years of experience, Vasyl has expertise in advising national and international clients on various legal issues, especially covering intellectual property rights protection, trademarks and copyright licensing, telecommunications, research & development, financing, mergers and acquisitions, software development (including outsourcing), marketing and antitrust issues.

Following his LL.M. studies, Vasyl worked for Ridout & Maybee (IP boutique in Canada) focusing on international law issues in the IT industry. He further gained experience as a leading Corporate Governance legal advisor at Lifecell (telecommunications), a senior lawyer at the law firm Baturinets and Partners as well as a general legal counsel at Vostok Games (video games developer).
