Senior Associate

Matteo is senior associate in the Corporate Group, focusing on restructuring and insolvency. He assists debtors, creditors and investors in all aspects of insolvency proceedings.

He specialises in civil and corporate law, with a focus on bankruptcy, assisting creditors, debtors and third party investors.

He has gained a wealth of experience over many years in providing advice on legal issues relating to corporate insolvency and restructuring cases. He has specific experience in standstill agreements, debt restructuring agreements and composition with creditors. He is used to drafting and negotiating different types of agreements with banks, debtors, investors and creditors in the debt restructuring sector.

He advises clients on M&A transactions and corporate extraordinary transactions, as well as in drafting and negotiating of the relevant agreements, including investment framework agreements, shareholders' agreements, sale and purchase agreements.
