Dr Bahne Sievers, LL.M. (LSE) is a Counsel in Fieldfisher's Hamburg office and advises on IP, Commercial and Data Protection matters.

With over 12 years of experience, he advises in particular on digital commerce, AI systems, SaaS and PaaS solutions and smart devices.

Our clients include both established (international) companies and start-ups. He also advises platform providers in particular on Media and Copyright Law.

Before joining Fieldfisher, he worked for several years as a lawyer in well-known international commercial law firms in Hamburg.

He advises our clients in German and English.

He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR).

Furthermore, he is a lecturer in Media Law at the Tide Academy and regularly gives talks on AI issues and other topics.

He studied law and musicology at the University of Hamburg and then completed a Master's degree (LL.M.) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on a DAAD scholarship. The University of Hamburg awarded him a doctorate for his dissertation thesis on a Copyright Law topic.
